Big Boat Regatta Canceled

Due to the rising COVID-19 cases in the Edmonton region, the Leduc Boat Club has decided to cancel the 2021 Big Boat Regatta scheduled to take place on September 18 at Telford Lake.   All registrations will be refunded, and we look forward to hosting it in September of 2022.

Our Alberta Culture Pop Up Event “Polynesian Ohana” will continue to take place on September 18, 2021, from 11 am – 3 pm at the Leduc Boat Club boathouse on Telford Lake.

Registration will open in 2022

Leduc Boat Club will once again host the Big Boat Regatta on September 17th, 2022.

This one-day race will include:

    • At least three 500 meter Dragon Boat races
    • And three 500 meter OC races (OC paddlers must be members or come with personal equipment for the OC races.)

Dragon Boat Teams and OC participants registered on a first-come, first-serve basis.   Your entry is considered complete once your registration and payment have been received.

Community League and Corporate teams are welcome.  Contact us to book practice times or for more information about our race.
